Much better Christmas

I got the best Christmas present from Art last night, he made me my very own blue canary in the outlet by the light switch to watch over me. How wonderful is that ...

In other news my brother and sister will be here tonight, excited about that. Get to have my brother sleep over in my new place, I'll have to beat him up a little though, for old times sake. Petra is bringing out her skis, she wants to go snowboarding while she is here, and I though I would try skiing again. Its been a few years, I'm a little frightened. 8| I wish you could make my favourite stunned smily face from MSN on here.

Waiting for the little guys to rise

Me and mom baked spitzbuben and stolen today. Got two loaves cuddled up beside the tv over the heater doing their last rise. I love stolen ... Also decorated the jade tree with a snowflake garland and little Euro grey haired Santa heads. Lastly wrote my final Christmas cards to be mailed tomorrow. Got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday too, been a Christmas preparing extravaganza this weekend. Nice actually to have energy to do little things like send everyone cards, I think this is the first year I have been able to do that.

Four more days till eleven days off. I can't wait.

Now for the doors, bathroom cupboard, floorboards, kitchen cabinets ... actually it isn't that bad and I am almost there. And maybe Petra and Ian will help me finish up once they get here for the holidays.

Home. Inuyasha, Myst Revelation, bubble baths - I am feeling so cozy in my new renoed place I am spending all my time with me and ignoring all my firends and such. Well I get 11 wonderful days off starting the 24th, so I will get plenty of social time then.

First hurdle

Ok, lame I know, Blogger template. But it is something, and being able to edit my blog shows that I have indeed committed all my new ftp info to memory. I'll be doing more during my 11 day Christmas break, I can't wait! 11 days of sleeping in. Except for Christmas morning of course ... :)

The reason I have not had a site is because I have been spending all my time renovating my new place. I'm starting to become really happy with it.
